Objective and scope
This website tests whether a focused, useful and technically sound website can compete for organic construction searches in Blackpool. The primary query is “builder in Blackpool”. The existing 13-page structure covers four core project types and supporting homeowner information.
The project does not claim a number-one position or any measured ranking improvement. Harlowe & Fenn is a demonstration, as explained on the About page.
Production website
The production address is harlowefenn.co.uk, hosted on Netlify. The website uses static HTML, self-referencing canonical URLs and a sitemap. Page content is available without JavaScript; small scripts support navigation, printing and the budget worksheet.
What will be measured
Evaluation should use the production domain’s Google Search Console data: indexing and selected canonicals, query impressions, clicks and positions, with particular attention to the intended Blackpool searches and relevant landing pages. Compare consistent periods and record the date of each published change.
A single search result, different device or different location is not a controlled ranking benchmark. No Search Console results are published here because none have been independently verified for this report.
Project boundaries
The website does not accept building projects or construction enquiries. There is no invented address, review history, professional credential or project portfolio. The scope excludes fabricated business listings and Google Business Profile activity.
The budget worksheet uses the visitor’s figures. It does not produce a contractor quotation. Sources and limitations accompany the relevant guides.
